Katie Horne is a human resources leader with more than 15 years of experience helping nonprofits, startups, and growing companies build strong teams, navigate organizational change, and create effective workplace practices. Katie's expertise spans all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, organizational design, talent development, compensation, and California employment compliance. She is known for her practical, hands-on approach, sound judgment, and ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.

Throughout her career, Katie has led HR functions across diverse industries, including fintech, cybersecurity, agtech, SaaS, and automotive operations. Her experience includes developing performance management systems, creating compensation structures, guiding organizational restructures, managing sensitive employee relations matters, and implementing scalable HR programs for both exempt and hourly workforces.
